The client’s beauty and self-care product listing was blocked by Amazon compliance teams under dangerous goods (HAZMAT) regulations. Without a valid, standardized Safety Data Sheet (SDS) detailing chemical safety and transport classifications, the product remained unsellable, halting inventory intake and causing significant revenue loss.

What We Did

We conducted deep regulatory analysis and authored a complete 16-section Safety Data Sheet tailored to Amazon’s exact approval criteria.

Regulatory Research & Compliance Alignment: Utilized SearXNG, Perplexity Sonar Deep Research, and LLMs to cross-reference Amazon Seller Central documentation, forum requirements, and OSHA HazCom 2012 (GHS Rev. 3) standards. Chemical & Transportation Standardization: Evaluated formula properties (including polydimethylsiloxane baseline specifications), standardized Section 14 transport details, and established proper GHS classification parameters. 16-Section SDS Documentation & Case Submission: Drafted the complete, fully compliant Safety Data Sheet in Microsoft Word and submitted it alongside an official compliance appeal to Amazon seller support.

The Result

Won the compliance appeal case on Amazon, eliminating all HAZMAT listing restrictions. The beauty and self-care product was approved and successfully went live for sale on the marketplace.
