The Challenge

The client’s Amazon listing for an RV fresh water kit was blocked from sale due to strict marketplace safety compliance rules. Because the product kit included a chemical component (food-grade silicone grease), Amazon demanded a standardized Safety Data Sheet (SDS) meeting OSHA HazCom 2012 and GHS guidelines, preventing the seller from inventory ingestion and listing activation.

What We Did

We conducted deep regulatory research and drafted a complete, fully compliant 16-section SDS aligned with Amazon seller compliance requirements.

Regulatory Research & Documentation Review: Analyzed Amazon Seller Central documentation, forum requirements, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200 guidelines using SearXNG and Perplexity Sonar Deep Research to ensure exact compliance formatting.
Chemical Composition & Hazard Analysis: Identified component properties for Food Grade Silicone Grease (SG-2) and mapped proper GHS classification, handling, and emergency guidelines.
16-Section SDS Authoring: Structured and formatted the official 16-section Safety Data Sheet in Microsoft Word, detailing product identifiers, ASIN/UPC metadata, manufacturer contact information, and regulatory safety sections for Amazon compliance submission.

The Result

Delivered an officially formatted, OSHA-aligned Safety Data Sheet that satisfied Amazon’s HAZMAT and product safety requirements, clearing compliance blocks and securing listing approval for sale on the platform.
